Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Python for high-traffic cloud applications
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through our structured pairing program
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to reduce deployment cycles
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for production incidents
- Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expertise in distributed systems design and AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Proven experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong grasp of testing methodologies (TDD, BDD) with 90%+ test coverage
- Demonstrable experience leading agile projects and cross-functional teams
- Portfolio showcasing contributions to open-source projects or complex systems
