Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive inbound traffic.
- Perform in-depth technical audits to diagnose and resolve site performance issues, including site speed, crawlability, and indexation errors.
- Lead keyword research initiatives to identify high-value search terms and gaps in the competitive landscape.
- Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures, ensuring strict adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics 4 and Search Console to report on campaign performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and web development cycles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaign results.
- Deep understanding of Google’s algorithm updates and SEO best practices (e.g., E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency in technical SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex SEO concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment within the UK market.
