Are you ready to push the boundaries of the web? Apex Digital Systems is seeking a world-class Senior React Developer to lead our frontend architecture. We are currently undergoing a major modernization initiative, migrating our core platform to React 18 and leveraging its powerful concurrent features.
In this role, you won't just write components; you will architect scalable, high-performance applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will work directly with our CTO and design team to define the future of our product.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of new features using React 18, focusing on Concurrent Mode and Suspense.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring 99th percentile load times and smooth animations.
- Refactor legacy codebases to modern standards, improving maintainability and developer velocity.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive components.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold our high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with React.js, specifically React 18 and its new APIs.
- Deep understanding of React internals, including the Virtual DOM, reconciliation, and hooks lifecycle.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for type-safe, scalable codebases.
- Experience with modern state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
- Strong knowledge of CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components) and responsive design.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (Next.js, Remix) is a major plus.
