Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and implement complex quantum circuits and algorithms for commercial applications.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of quantum processors with classical cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- R&D Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of physicists and software engineers in exploratory research.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Tools: Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
