Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and implement the high-level system architecture for our quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions.
- Roadmap Execution: Lead the technical strategy for our 2026 release cycle, translating theoretical research into scalable software products.
- Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex, real-world problems with superior efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a cross-functional team of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging quantum hardware and software frameworks to ensure our architecture remains future-proof.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols for quantum encryption and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Q# or similar quantum programming languages. Deep understanding of linear algebra and probability theory.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and deliver innovative technical solutions.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects from conception to deployment.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
