Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 3PL logistics partners and warehouse teams
- Develop and implement KPI-driven operational improvement plans
- Lead cross-functional projects including automation system integrations
- Manage vendor contracts and negotiate service-level agreements
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Mentor 8-person operations team through performance development plans
- Coordinate disaster recovery protocols for supply chain disruptions
Qualifications
- 7+ years in operations management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven experience with WMS/TMS implementations (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Expertise in inventory optimization and cost reduction strategies
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Power BI/Tableau
- Experience managing unionized workforce and labor relations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts during peak seasons
