Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of logistics and supply chain departments to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff, conducting regular performance reviews and training.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Develop and manage the annual operations budget, forecasting financial needs accurately.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and warehousing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the logistics or warehousing industry.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 15+ people in a high-volume environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
