Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ operations specialists and supervisors
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to optimize workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive operations management experience in logistics/distribution
- Proven track record of implementing lean methodologies and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and metrics
- Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety compliance standards
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams
