Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 50+ personnel across warehouse, transportation, and fulfillment divisions
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage $15M annual budget with quarterly variance analysis and optimization
- Lead cross-functional projects including ERP system integrations and facility expansions
- Ensure 99.8% compliance with DOT/FDA regulations and safety protocols
- Drive vendor negotiations reducing operational costs by minimum 15% annually
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and develop succession plans for key roles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/3PL environments
- Proven track record implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement systems
- Expertise in WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and cost analysis
- OSHA 30-hour certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge
- Spanish fluency required for bilingual team coordination
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
