Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 50,000 sq ft distribution center managing 25+ staff across 3 shifts
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Optimize supply chain processes using lean methodologies and KPI-driven analysis
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with procurement, warehouse, and transportation teams
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain industry-leading safety standards
- Manage $5M+ operational budget with continuous cost-reduction initiatives
- Drive digital transformation through WMS/TMS system implementation and automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics/operations with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven track record of optimizing distribution centers and reducing operational costs
- Expertise in lean management, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- OSHA certification and familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (Manhattan, Oracle, or SAP)
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required for cross-border operations
