Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues on a 24/7 basis.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches during off-peak hours.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to document issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols and compliance standards.
- Respond to critical alerts and escalations with speed and precision.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system failures to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills for cross-shift collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
