Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts for our web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with a focus on root cause analysis to prevent future regressions.
- Collaborate with development teams via asynchronous channels (Slack, Jira) to resolve critical issues during off-hours.
- Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes for the night release cycle.
- Analyze system metrics and performance data to optimize application stability during peak load times.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically in a night shift or 24/7 support environment.
- Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Deep understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical issues clearly to remote stakeholders.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
