Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and traffic patterns to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Execute scheduled patch management and system maintenance during off-hours.
- Triage and resolve complex network tickets and hardware failures.
- Perform network troubleshooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Document network configurations and incident reports for handover to day-shift teams.
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to implement strategic network improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Valid CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification is required.
- Must be available to work Night Shift schedules (including weekends and holidays).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with VPN configurations and network security protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
