Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components using lean methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement quality control systems ensuring AS9100 compliance
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype development and production scaling
- Analyze production data to identify efficiency opportunities
- Maintain documentation of manufacturing procedures and standards
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks preferred)
- ASQ Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) certification
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to relocate to Wichita, KS with assistance
