Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes using lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles
- Design and implement advanced production systems for aerospace components
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing challenges
- Develop and maintain quality control standards exceeding ISO 9001 requirements
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype development and process validation
- Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage capital equipment projects and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precision manufacturing
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and MRP systems
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 aerospace quality standards
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvement projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
- Ability to relocate to Wichita with relocation assistance provided
