Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex IT infrastructure including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), networking, and security systems
- Lead system migration projects and ensure zero-downtime transitions
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, proactively resolving issues
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Document system architecture and create technical procedures for operational teams
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical incidents and conduct root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/KVM), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud services
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Professional certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, ITIL) preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
