Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory security to ensure data integrity and privacy.
- Deployment: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor system performance and uptime, responding proactively to alerts to prevent downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and technical documentation for the team.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on new software applications and IT best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Linux or macOS is a plus.
- Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
