Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and electrical systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement safety upgrades and process improvements.
- Conduct rigorous safety inspections and ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company protocols.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of maintenance parts and order supplies efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician or Mechanical License is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Willingness to travel to various plant locations within the Sacramento area.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as required.
