Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Diagnose electrical/mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform energy efficiency audits and recommend system upgrades
- Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed service reports and inventory management
- Respond to emergency service calls within 2-hour response time
- Adhere to EPA and OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience with EPA 608 certification
- Valid California HVAC Contractor License (C-20)
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex system failures
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- NATE or similar certification preferred
