Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological paradigms
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Architect proof-of-concept prototypes for emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bio-digital)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into commercial pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry panels
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging tech adoption and ethical implementation
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technological evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech innovation, R&D, or strategic foresight roles
- Deep expertise in 3+ emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFS)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend impact analysis frameworks
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented innovations
