Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, advanced AI) for strategic implications
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future tech paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Monitor global regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in technology trend analysis and scenario planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience publishing industry thought leadership
- Certification in Futures methodologies (e.g., CFP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy
