Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis to map the 2026 landscape
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps translating foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate future-ready technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, AGI frameworks)
- Present compelling foresight narratives to executive stakeholders and board members through immersive data visualizations
- Establish cross-industry futurist networks to identify paradigm shifts in AI ethics, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Mentor junior futurists and curate an internal foresight knowledge hub
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into enterprise strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ foresight projects with measurable business impact
