Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal shifts to develop 5-year strategic foresight models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios with stakeholders
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Design and implement horizon scanning processes for early opportunity detection
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through industry publications
- Quantify market readiness and adoption curves for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data synthesis and visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
