Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors to achieve error correction breakthroughs
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit compilation techniques
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency in Python with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, SciPy)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
