Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using AI-powered trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Present visionary roadmaps to global stakeholders including Fortune 500 partners and venture capital firms
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at premier innovation conferences
- Mentor junior futurists while fostering a culture of radical innovation and ethical foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Nature Futures, Harvard Business Review)
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 organizations
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
