Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological trajectories for 2026-2030
- Develop and present innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI autonomy) for market viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-forward solutions
- Represent the company at global forums on future technology governance
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for industry leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology innovation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Experience with patent strategy and IP development for emerging domains
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Fluency in future forecasting tools (Horizon scanning, Delphi methods)
