Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 tech adoption across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Lead quarterly horizon scanning workshops with R&D teams to identify emerging threats/opportunities
- Author executive briefings on disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members
- Mentor junior researchers in futurist methodologies
- Oversee implementation of prototyping initiatives for 2026-ready solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of published trend analysis in tech publications
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, nanotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Experience with scenario planning and Delphi methodology
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaboration projects
