Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite stakeholders
- Design and execute innovation sprints with cross-functional R&D teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Manage a $2M annual innovation portfolio with measurable ROI
- Establish partnerships with 10+ academic and corporate research labs
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published author in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting frameworks
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools and data visualization
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($500K+)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
