Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market shifts, and socio-economic indicators to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations communicating complex future scenarios to stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track emerging technologies
- Advise executive leadership on long-term strategic positioning and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Management, Economics, or related field with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, environmental, and demographic megatrends
- Certification in strategic foresight or scenario planning (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating to executive audiences
