Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and implement robust system architectures capable of scaling to meet the demands of the 2026 technological landscape, including edge computing and decentralized networks.
- Lead AI Integration: Spearhead the integration of advanced AI models and machine learning pipelines into core product offerings to enhance automation and decision-making capabilities.
- R&D Strategy: Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies (e.g., quantum-ready algorithms, neuromorphic computing) and evaluate their applicability to OmniStream’s roadmap.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end optimization of system latency, throughput, and resource efficiency to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable technical specifications.
- Code Governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and security protocols to maintain high code quality across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or a related technical field with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, and familiarity with distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices).
- AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience deploying AI models in production environments.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think critically about long-term technology trends and translate abstract concepts into concrete architectural solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor junior engineers.
