The Role:
As the Senior Future Tech Architect, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and integrating technologies that will dominate the landscape by 2026. You will lead the charge in researching AI, quantum computing, and next-gen web architectures to ensure our platform remains at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term technical vision for Horizon Tech Solutions, identifying key trends and technologies that will impact the industry by 2026.
- Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Conduct in-depth research and POCs (Proof of Concepts) on emerging tech stacks, including generative AI, edge computing, and decentralized systems.
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable architecture that supports future growth and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, C-suite executives, and engineering leads to translate business goals into technical strategies.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Risk Management: Assess technical risks associated with new implementations and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, technical strategy, or a similar senior leadership role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern programming languages (Go, Rust, Python).
- Innovation Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and implementing disruptive technologies in a business context.
- Leadership: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
