Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js).
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high scalability across multiple devices.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Integrate third-party APIs and ensure data security and compliance.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to achieve high test coverage.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid model (3 days in Portland office).
