Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of our flagship web platforms. You will work closely with product managers and security analysts to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Architect and implement robust, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices across the team.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teamsâincluding UI/UX designers and QA engineersâto translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-performance digital products.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all applications adhere to strict security protocols and government compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Optimization: Monitor application performance and optimize front-end and back-end components to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the technical roadmap of the department.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead capacity.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React preferred) and modern backend languages.
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification is a plus.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret clearance is highly desirable.
