Role Overview
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build robust, scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable web applications using modern technologies (React, Node.js, Python).
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and troubleshoot issues.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards across the team.
- Optimization: Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack development.
- Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Backend: Strong experience with Node.js, Express, or Python/Django.
- Databases: Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
