Working in the heart of the San Francisco tech hub, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to optimize cloud deployments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and drive technical innovation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of production environments during weekend shifts.
- Execute and troubleshoot deployments, patches, and infrastructure updates outside of standard business hours.
- Respond to critical incidents and alerts, performing root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to ensure seamless handovers and knowledge sharing.
- Optimize cloud resources (AWS/Azure) to reduce costs and improve performance.
- Document technical procedures and create runbooks for complex weekend workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or System Administration.
- Strong proficiency with Linux, scripting (Bash/Python), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- Proven track record of managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during weekends.
- Strong communication skills to document and explain technical issues.
