Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using AWS/GCP
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime
- Lead container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Automate infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible
- Collaborate with product teams on DevOps best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud security and compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management
- Expertise in AWS/GCP with certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Strong Python/Go scripting skills for automation
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code methodologies
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of successful large-scale deployments
- Ability to relocate to San Diego immediately
