Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and scalability
- Ensure security best practices across cloud environments and implement compliance frameworks
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead incident response procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) with certification
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
