Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions to optimize uptime and reduce latency.
- Collaborate closely with software developers to define release schedules and improve application reliability.
- Enforce security best practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments on cloud environments.
- Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis for production outages.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and recommend improvements to the engineering stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Chef).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
