Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for 99.99% uptime across multi-region deployments
- Lead Kubernetes cluster management (EKS) with Helm/Terraform automation
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation and Terraform
- Monitor and enhance security posture with AWS WAF, GuardDuty, and IAM policies
- Collaborate with SRE team to define SLAs for payment processing systems
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and service mesh (Istio)
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation scripting
- Certification in AWS DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with financial services compliance (PCI-DSS, SOC2)
- Demonstrated history of reducing operational costs by 30%+
- Strong background in monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) and alerting
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
