Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced ML models for federal data analysis projects
- Collaborate with government agencies to define data-driven KPIs
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Lead A/B testing frameworks for policy optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining hands-on technical contributions
- Present findings to cross-functional teams including C-level executives
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in data science with government/public sector exposure
- Expertise in Python, R, and SQL with distributed computing (Spark/AWS)
- Portfolio demonstrating predictive modeling on large-scale datasets
- Strong understanding of federal data governance frameworks
- Certification in AWS/GCP data analytics platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
