Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, and Engineering) to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize data architecture for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement data security and governance best practices to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior data engineers to foster technical growth within the team.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex data issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
