Your Mission
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of our analytics division. You will design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models that solve complex business problems and optimize our core processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to drive business insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data cleaning to prepare high-quality datasets for modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Stakeholders) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Deploy models into production environments using cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Monitor model performance and iterate on algorithms to ensure accuracy and efficiency over time.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or predictive modeling.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Deep understanding of machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL databases and data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between data and business strategy.
- Willingness to relocate to Sacramento, CA.
