Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize system performance and security while ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical applications
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and conduct regular code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and create technical specifications for complex systems
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) with relevant certifications
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
- Proven track record of designing secure, scalable cloud architectures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
