Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for clinical decision support and predictive analytics
- Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with clinicians and business stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable strategies
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis to implementation
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices in model validation
- Present findings to executive leadership through compelling visualizations and reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics with healthcare industry focus
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, NLP)
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and EHR systems
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of completed data science projects demonstrating impact
