Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS and Azure
- Optimize data warehouse performance using Snowflake and Redshift
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka and Spark
- Create data governance frameworks and quality automation
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical workshops
- Collaborate with ML teams to build feature stores
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data engineering with cloud platforms
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed computing
- Proven experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
- Strong background in data modeling and database design
- AWS/Azure certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
