Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Apache Spark
- Optimize data warehouse schemas on Redshift for performance and cost efficiency
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka and Flink
- Create automated data quality monitoring and anomaly detection systems
- Collaborate with ML engineers to build feature engineering pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers on data governance best practices
- Lead cloud migration projects for legacy data infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with data warehousing and ETL development
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and at least one cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
- Strong background in data modeling and dimensional design
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Experience leading data migration projects with minimal downtime
