Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network security protocols.
- Manage and configure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to ensure strict compliance.
- Collaborate with IT operations to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all platforms.
- Document security policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security administration.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CCNA Security is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for security automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
