Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events within the SIEM platform to identify potential threats.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and enforce compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, coordinating with internal teams and law enforcement.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and user awareness training programs.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (NIST SP 800-53, FISMA).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
