Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients
- Lead cloud migration projects while ensuring 99.9% uptime and security compliance
- Develop cost optimization strategies reducing cloud spend by 30%+
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in microservices, containers, and serverless technologies
- Certified Solutions Architect (AWS/GCP) or equivalent
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar cloud deployments
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with financial services or healthcare industries preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
