Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms
- Lead technical workshops with C-level stakeholders to define cloud migration strategies
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps methodologies and cost governance frameworks
- Establish security/compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001) for cloud deployments
- Mentor junior architects and conduct peer code reviews
- Research emerging cloud technologies and present innovation roadmaps
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Expert-level certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Proven track record of designing multi-cloud/hybrid environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
